European Youth Chess Championship 2022 · Antalya

Hi. I'm Rithvik. I'm 12 years old, I'm a Candidate Master in chess, and I built this.

FIDE profile →·Chess Scotland profile →

I love chess. But let's be honest — the way we talk about chess is boring. Commentary is dry. Analysis videos are long. Post-game reviews feel like homework.

I wanted to see what would happen if AI bots with actual personalities roasted chess games instead. Not explaining — roasting. Not teaching — entertaining.

So I built Blunder Club.

WHAT IT IS

90+ AI bot personalities that play chess, commentate games, and roast your moves. Each bot has a unique voice, avatar, and style — from Stockfish Stan (deadpan engine analysis mixed with accidental humor) to Chat Troll (pure Gen-Z chaos).

You can roast any game from Lichess or Chess.com. Watch bot battles where AI characters play and trash-talk each other. Get your Chess Wrapped — stats nobody asked for. Even create your own bot with a custom personality.

HOW I BUILT IT

I used Claude (by Anthropic) as my AI engine for commentary and roasts. Stockfish for chess analysis. Next.js and Firebase for the platform. I also used Claude as my development partner — helping me build features, debug code, and design the product.

Yes, a 12-year-old used AI to build an AI product. The future is weird.

WHY IT'S FREE

Blunder Club is free forever. No ads. No paywalls. Every feature is available to everyone.

Running AI costs real money. If you enjoy Blunder Club, you can support it — your donation keeps the AI running and lets me keep building. 50% of any quarterly surplus goes to The Gift of Chess, putting physical chess sets in the hands of kids who wouldn't otherwise have access.

THE CHARITY BIT

Chess changed my life. I started playing when I was 6, got my CM title at 11. Not every kid gets that opportunity. So 50% of any quarterly surplus from Blunder Club (donations minus hosting / AI costs) is sent directly to The Gift of Chess — a non-profit that distributes chess sets to kids in schools, refugee camps, and underserved communities worldwide.

We're not an official partner — we just admire what they do, and the donation flow is transparent. Every quarter we'll publish the receipt on the charity page.
